1.
Ride bikes around the block with a purpose: keep track of how many red/white cars/houses you see.
2.
Paint the sidewalk/fence: Give the kid a paintbrush and cup of water to "paint" whatever they want.
3.
Inventory plants in your backyard. Give the kids a notebook to identify and count all the different types of plants you have.
4.
Chalkboard Challenge: Give them a list of things to draw on the sidewalk (Draw a car/ flower/ princess/ cat/ beachball/ umbrella etc...)
5.
Color printables! The internet is full of free printables - you can literally choose any character to print out.
6.
Throw a dance party! Create a 30 minute playlist, show the kids some basic moves, and watch them burn off all the pancakes they ate today :)
7.
Read a story and act it out to mom/dad/ sibling using your dolls/ teddies for characters.
